# Orez, the inbox that asks first

Orez sorts your Gmail by your VIPs and your goals, then drafts the reply. It never touches more than you let it. Free and open source.

## Inbox: sorted by who, and by why

VIPs first, then whatever moves your goals, then what needs a reply. Strangers wait at the door until you let them in.

- **VIPs**: people you named
- **Goals**: moves a goal of yours
- **Needs reply**: someone is waiting
- **New senders**: strangers wait here

Every thread opens on what the sender wants and why Orez put it in front of you.

- **They want**: one line on what the sender is asking for, above the thread.
- **Why it's here**: the reason it landed in its lane, and which judge said so.
- **Orez drafted**: a reply waiting in Gmail Drafts. Nothing sends until you do.

When they ask to meet, offer times you are actually free.

## Calendar

Day, week, month and agenda views on your Google or Outlook calendar. Offer times, propose a new time, and add a Google Meet, Zoom or Teams link to an event.

## Access: one grant, not one more password

Orez runs on a One Connect grant you set.

- **Read only by default.** Orez starts with read access to Gmail and Calendar. You raise it when you are ready.
- **Every call on the record.** Not just the ones Orez made. The ones it tried and could not, because they fell outside the grant.
- **Revoke in one click.** In your One account, not buried in a settings page you have to go find inside Orez.
- **Yours to take anywhere.** The same grant works with the next agent you try. You are not starting over.

A call outside the grant is refused before it reaches Gmail:

## Works with

- Mail: Gmail, Outlook
- Calendar: Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar
- Meeting links: Google Meet, Zoom, Teams
- Models: Jev, Claude, Codex. Running locally, Orez finds the Claude Code or Codex CLI you already have.

## Open source: read the source before you trust it

Orez is free. Run it on your own machine in one line, on the sample inbox or your own.
